By calling for cooperation with the famous British female band Spice Girls, which we published on our Facebook page, we attracted a great deal of attention in the media in the last several days. Dozens of media outlets from Bosnia and Herzegovina have reported about our offer in one day, while fans of Spice Girls shared the newsin various groups on social networks!
Our offer was very clear and concrete! We said:
“Hey, Spice Girls!
We are a social enterprise from Bosnia and we would love to make your T-shirts, ’cause that’s what we do best! With us, you can have your cake and eat it too! We guarantee that you can avoid this headache by hiring us.
Plus, we are only a few countries away from you guys. Let us know what you think!
Peace, The Funky Guerrilla team” was written in an unusual message that attracted attention.

The reason for this is the text which was published a few days ago by The Guardian, which states that Spice Girls T-shirts were made in factory paying staff 35p an hour. It would all be okay if there wasn’t this problem that by purchasing these t-shirts, this band does not call for social responsibility because the money from the sale will be donated to the Comic Relief Foundation, which contributes to the equality of women in society.
A spokesman for the Spice Girls said they were “deeply shocked and appalled” and would personally fund an investigation into the factory’s working conditions. He points out that he will personally launch an investigation into the way the factory operates, where these popular products were created.
We would be more than grateful if you could help us and expand the news so Spice Girls can find out for our suggestion! Share, share, share.
